If you?re ingesting less calories, your whole body tries to remove what it is making use of the most.
A personal coach might be an excellent expenditure for those committed to generally enhancing their fitness levels. Not only can a private fitness instructor possess a professional insight to talk about nevertheless they will give one the enthusiasm to stick with an exercise routine. While not for everybody your own trainer can make a big impact.

Nokia India announced today at the Nokia Strategy Summit in Chennai that its Lumia 900 and Lumia 610 handsets will be coming to India sometime in Q3 of this year. The pair of Lumias will fulfill the desires of both those looking for a high-end powerhouse phone, in the Lumia 900, and those in the market for something more economical, the toned-down 610. Both phones run Windows Phone Refresh (aka Tango), but are much different in the hardware department. While the 4.3-inch Lumia 900 packs a 1.4 GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 8 mega-pixel and 16GB of storage, the 610 has a 3.7-inch LCD, 800MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 8GB of storage and a 5MP camera. Neither a concrete arrival date, nor pricing, were revealed for either device.
Another announcement that came out of today's Nokia Strategy Summit was the mid-June arrival of the 808 PureView, which was originally revealed back at MWC 2012. The 808, if you recall, is the Symbian-powered phone that is equipped with a 41-megapixel camera. It was originally expected to hit shelves in May, but was delayed for unknown reasons. Nokia has put up a website to pre-book the 808 PureView, but has not made any pricing known for that either. It's an odd move for a device that is so close to its release date. The 808 runs a 1.3GHz CPU, 512MB RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card.
The next few months should be pretty exciting for those in India itching for a new Windows Phone device, or a phone with a monster camera hanging off the back of it. We will keep you posted if any further release dates or prices make their way out into the Ether.

As for Web searches, police probably can?t require a company like Google to share its data with them without good reason, legal experts say. But unlike phone conversations, emails, and text messages, search queries aren?t protected from voluntary disclosure to authorities, notes Orin Kerr, a computer crime expert at George Washington University. When you pick up the phone to call a friend, the reasoning goes, you?re communicating with that friend, and the phone company is a third party that doesn?t have a right to eavesdrop. But when you type a query into Google?s search bar, you?re communicating directly with Google. That makes Google the ?end user? of your information, and gives it the legal prerogative?at least in theory?to share that information with anyone it likes, including the police or the FBI. Kerr calls it a hole in the country?s privacy laws and has called for it to be patched.

Climate change, population pressure could send planet into new regime for which we are unprepared
A prestigious group of scientists from around the world is warning that population growth, widespread destruction of natural ecosystems, and climate change may be driving Earth toward an irreversible change in the biosphere, a planet-wide tipping point that would have destructive consequences absent adequate preparation and mitigation.
"It really will be a new world, biologically, at that point," warns Anthony Barnosky, professor of integrative biology at the University of California, Berkeley, and lead author of a review paper appearing in the June 7 issue of the journal Nature. "The data suggests that there will be a reduction in biodiversity and severe impacts on much of what we depend on to sustain our quality of life, including, for example, fisheries, agriculture, forest products and clean water. This could happen within just a few generations."
The Nature paper, in which the scientists compare the biological impact of past incidences of global change with processes under way today and assess evidence for what the future holds, appears in an issue devoted to the environment in advance of the June 20-22 United Nations Rio+20 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The result of such a major shift in the biosphere would be mixed, Barnosky noted, with some plant and animal species disappearing, new mixes of remaining species, and major disruptions in terms of which agricultural crops can grow where.
The paper by 22 internationally known scientists describes an urgent need for better predictive models that are based on a detailed understanding of how the biosphere reacted in the distant past to rapidly changing conditions, including climate and human population growth. In a related development, ground-breaking research to develop the reliable, detailed biological forecasts the paper is calling for is now underway at UC Berkeley. The endeavor, The Berkeley Initiative in Global Change Biology, or BiGCB, is a massive undertaking involving more than 100 UC Berkeley scientists from an extraordinary range of disciplines that already has received funding: a $2.5 million grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and a $1.5 million grant from the Keck Foundation. The paper by Barnosky and others emerged from the first conference convened under the BiGCB's auspices.
"One key goal of the BiGCB is to understand how plants and animals responded to major shifts in the atmosphere, oceans, and climate in the past, so that scientists can improve their forecasts and policy makers can take the steps necessary to either mitigate or adapt to changes that may be inevitable," Barnosky said. "Better predictive models will lead to better decisions in terms of protecting the natural resources future generations will rely on for quality of life and prosperity." Climate change could also lead to global political instability, according to a U.S. Department of Defense study referred to in the Nature paper.
"UC Berkeley is uniquely positioned to conduct this sort of complex, multi-disciplinary research," said Graham Fleming, UC Berkeley's vice chancellor for research. "Our world-class museums hold a treasure trove of biological specimens dating back many millennia that tell the story of how our planet has reacted to climate change in the past. That, combined with new technologies and data mining methods used by our distinguished faculty in a broad array of disciplines, will help us decipher the clues to the puzzle of how the biosphere will change as the result of the continued expansion of human activity on our planet."
One BiGCB project launched last month, with UC Berkeley scientists drilling into Northern California's Clear Lake, one of the oldest lakes in the world with sediments dating back more than 120,000 years, to determine how past changes in California's climate impacted local plant and animal populations.
City of Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates, chair of the Bay Area Joint Policy Committee, said the BiGCB "is providing the type of research that policy makers urgently need as we work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare the Bay region to adapt to the inevitable impacts of climate change. To take meaningful actions to protect our region, we first need to understand the serious global and local changes that threaten our natural resources and biodiversity."
"The Bay Area's natural systems, which we often take for granted, are absolutely critical to the health and well-being of our people, our economy and the Bay Area's quality of life," added Bates.
How close is a global tipping point?
The authors of the Nature review biologists, ecologists, complex-systems theoreticians, geologists and paleontologists from the United States, Canada, South America and Europe argue that, although many warning signs are emerging, no one knows how close Earth is to a global tipping point, or if it is inevitable. The scientists urge focused research to identify early warning signs of a global transition and an acceleration of efforts to address the root causes.
"We really do have to be thinking about these global scale tipping points, because even the parts of Earth we are not messing with directly could be prone to some very major changes," Barnosky said. "And the root cause, ultimately, is human population growth and how many resources each one of us uses."
Coauthor Elizabeth Hadly from Stanford University said "we may already be past these tipping points in particular regions of the world. I just returned from a trip to the high Himalayas in Nepal, where I witnessed families fighting each other with machetes for wood wood that they would burn to cook their food in one evening. In places where governments are lacking basic infrastructure, people fend for themselves, and biodiversity suffers. We desperately need global leadership for planet Earth."
The authors note that studies of small-scale ecosystems show that once 50-90 percent of an area has been altered, the entire ecosystem tips irreversibly into a state far different from the original, in terms of the mix of plant and animal species and their interactions. This situation typically is accompanied by species extinctions and a loss of biodiversity.
Currently, to support a population of 7 billion people, about 43 percent of Earth's land surface has been converted to agricultural or urban use, with roads cutting through much of the remainder. The population is expected to rise to 9 billion by 2045; at that rate, current trends suggest that half Earth's land surface will be disturbed by 2025. To Barnosky, this is disturbingly close to a global tipping point.
"Can it really happen? Looking into the past tells us unequivocally that, yes, it can really happen. It has happened. The last glacial/interglacial transition 11,700 years ago was an example of that," he said, noting that animal diversity still has not recovered from extinctions during that time. "I think that if we want to avoid the most unpleasant surprises, we want to stay away from that 50 percent mark."
Global change biology
The paper emerged from a conference held at UC Berkeley in 2010 to discuss the idea of a global tipping point, and how to recognize and avoid it.
Following that meeting, 22 of the attendees summarized available evidence of past global state-shifts, the current state of threats to the global environment, and what happened after past tipping points.
They concluded that there is an urgent need for global cooperation to reduce world population growth and per-capita resource use, replace fossil fuels with sustainable sources, develop more efficient food production and distribution without taking over more land, and better manage the land and ocean areas not already dominated by humans as reservoirs of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
"Ideally, we want to be able to predict what could be detrimental biological change in time to steer the boat to where we don't get to those points," Barnosky said. "My underlying philosophy is that we want to keep Earth, our life support system, at least as healthy as it is today, in terms of supporting humanity, and forecast when we are going in directions that would reduce our quality of life so that we can avoid that."
"My view is that humanity is at a crossroads now, where we have to make an active choice," Barnosky said. "One choice is to acknowledge these issues and potential consequences and try to guide the future (in a way we want to). The other choice is just to throw up our hands and say, 'Let's just go on as usual and see what happens.' My guess is, if we take that latter choice, yes, humanity is going to survive, but we are going to see some effects that will seriously degrade the quality of life for our children and grandchildren."

One of Hollywood's most outspoken supporters of gay marriage and LGBT equality, Miley Cyrus has taken to Twitter to once again stand up for this important cause.
Cyrus - who actually wrote an editorial on the issue and also has a tattoo that expresses her beliefs - posted a photo on the social network yesterday that includes a close-up of her "favorite accessory of the day."
Along with this button, Miley included the hashtag #stopspreadinhate.
Love Miley or hate Miley - and THG has certainly taken issue with some of her wardrobe choices and transparent attempts to break free from her Hannah Montana persona - you've gotta admire a celebrity for taking a controversial stand.
I have loved smooth jazz music since I was a teen.? The amazing sound of Grover Washington Jr?s? saxophone hooked me long ago and never let me go. I have numerous albums and cd?s with? beautiful saxophone sounds from musicians; David Sanborn , Charley Langer, Rod Tate, Kenny G, Mindi Abair and several other incredibly talented jazz saxophone players. I also have plenty of other albums and cd?s by both old and new jazz artists.
The next time you find yourself relaxing to some smooth jazz sounds, or you hear a talented musician playing the saxophone, know that I am right there with you. I?m swaying along to the smooth jazz sounds and smiling with you.
Here?s a list of a fewof the CD?s I have been listening to recently (? alphabetical order) ? NEW YORK (AP) ? Games for smartphones, tablet computers and Facebook are becoming essential for major video game companies even as the industry's largest U.S. trade show remains largely a showcase for their latest flashy console titles.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo conference kicked off in Los Angeles on Tuesday amid a startling reality for the industry: Revenue from traditional video games is on the decline, despite more people playing games than ever.
Even the companies best known for hardcore shooters and racing games can't ignore those dynamics in the age of "Angry Birds" and "Words With Friends."
For instance, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., the company behind hardcore console games such as "Grand Theft Auto" and "BioShock," is unveiling several mobile games at the show this week. One of them is inspired by this year's presidential elections ? "Comedy Central's Indecision Game."
Zynga Inc., whose games are played mainly on Facebook and mobile devices, will have a presence at E3 for the first time. Though the company isn't planning any announcements, it will be meeting with game developers at the conference.
In many ways, the video game industry itself is following the career trajectory of "Words With Friends" creator Paul Bettner.
Bettner had worked on hardcore video games such as "Halo" for some 15 years before the birth of the iPhone inspired him and his brother to create "Words With Friends." That game went on to become highly popular, famously credited with getting actor Alec Baldwin kicked off an airplane for not shutting it off at takeoff.
Now, when Bettner thinks about what games he wants to create next, he thinks about what games his wife would want to play.
"That's another way of saying what games does everyone want to play?" he says.
Nick Earl, the head of Electronic Arts Inc.'s mobile and social studios, sees all game labels bringing their best titles to mobile devices.
He cites EA's "FIFA" soccer games as a good example. Separate versions are available for game consoles and mobile devices.
Earl says the mobile versions help expand the gaming audience, with newcomers and returning players who have not been gaming for a while.
"The iPhone initially started out at pure mass-casual games, like 'Scrabble,'" he says. Now, the games are becoming more serious, more immersive and, especially on tablets, more like the games people are used to playing in their living rooms.
Players "want to be able to dive into the game regardless of what device they are on," Earl says.
While people typically buy traditional video games up front, paying as much as $60 a disc for the latest blockbuster, mobile games are generally free or cheap to play.
For free games, companies make money when gamers pay a few dollars here and there for optional virtual items and more in-depth experiences. Paid games typically cost less than $7.
Even if relatively few people end up paying, it's often enough because mobile games cost less to make and distribute than traditional games, which can cost tens of millions of dollars to develop.
Games for the iPhone, the iPad and Android devices are more popular than ever. Of the 10 most popular paid apps on iTunes, five are games.
By contrast, brick-and-mortar retail sales of video games discs, consoles and accessories declined in the double-digit percentages in the first four months of 2012, compared with a year earlier, according to the latest numbers available from market researcher NPD Group.
That said, the majority of the industry's revenue is still generated from traditional games. About two-thirds of the roughly $1 billion that people spent on games in April went to new, physical retail games, according to NPD.
That's one reason companies are still making new blockbusters. At E3, EA is showcasing games such as the shooter "Battlefield 3," ''Need for Speed Most Wanted" and "Dead Space 3," for example.
But mobile games offer the potential to tap into a new audience.
"Revenue is rising, but the number of players is rising faster," Gartner analyst Brian Blau says of the overall game software market. "Not all players are being monetized to the fullest extent."
Zynga, for example, has some 250 million people playing its games on Facebook each month, but only a small number of them pay money for the virtual cows, poker chips and other digital items.
Zynga partly makes up for it by releasing games and updates every couple of months rather than once or twice a year, as traditional game companies do. Its popular titles include "FarmVille," ''Zynga Poker" and "Draw Something." Zynga has also bought Bettner's "Words with Friends" and employs him to create more titles.
If companies such as Zynga can get more people to pay, it could mean big opportunity for a genre that is still in its early stages.
For small-time game developers, the fact that it's much easier to create an iPhone game app than a blockbuster shooter for the Xbox is spurring new job prospects.
"A few years ago, independent developers couldn't support themselves making mobile games," says Joe Minton, the president of Digital Development Management, a talent agency for video game developers.
But mobile games are becoming so popular that now they can. He notes that in the U.K., most of the large console game companies are gone, and smaller mobile game developers have sprung up in their place.
One remaining hurdle might be attracting the most dedicated gamers.
Rob Pardo, vice president of game design at "Diablo III" developer Blizzard, believes mobile and social gamers moving to the hardcore realm would need to be a natural transition. It's not something the industry could force, but needs to be something that players themselves want.
"What I'm excited to see is when these social gamers start wanting something with higher fidelity and a little bit more gameplay, maybe they'll come to 'Diablo III' or 'Diablo IV,'" he said.

In Singapore, pests like termites and bed bugs are amongst the major headaches which ordinary households cannot solve on their own. Termite control Singapore companies are therefore important for residents who suffer from the damage and other problems caused by termites and other pests at home. If you want to have a pest management company that is both successful and sustainable, you have to take into account several factors.
Offer A Holistic Approach In Your Services
The more services you offer, the more customers you can attract. You may focus on providing solutions for termite infestations, but you can include bed bugs solutions amongst your major services, too. Bed bugs are one of the major problems of many families who use wooden furniture in their homes. Moreover, you can include lesser known services such as bird control for farmers who cultivate fruit-bearing trees which are often disturbed by visiting birds.
Likewise, you can increase your reliability and credibility by having the right equipment for the job. At the start of your business, it is vital to invest in equipment and machineries that are of excellent quality.
Check On Your Competitors And Do Better
To reach your clients better, it is ideal that you set up a website for your termite control Singapore business. Your clients will have easier ways of checking out your services or sending feedback about the company. The industry of termites and bed bugs solution is not as big as industries involving textile, food and computers, yet you still have to deal with other competitors. And like any other business, you need to always perform better than them.
You also need to constantly monitor the pest control industry. You must keep abreast with modern technologies and practices as well as maintain a continuous linkage with your customers and suppliers. This way, you can maintain the success and sustainability of your business.

George Zimmerman was expected to be back in jail later Sunday afternoon. NBC's Charles Hadlock reports from Sanford, Fla.

George Zimmerman, the man charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, has returned to Florida to surrender after a judge revoked his bail, Zimmerman's attorney said Sunday.
Charles Hadlock is a correspondent for NBC News. M. Alex Johnson is a reporter for msnbc.com. Follow M. Alex Johnson on Twitter and Facebook.
Zimmerman, 28, arrived in the state Saturday night from an undisclosed "secure location," where he has been staying because of "significant threats against his life," his lawyer, Mark O'Mara, said Sunday. He was expected to be back in the Seminole County jail by midafternoon ET.
Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain in Sanford, Fla., was released on $150,000 bail on April 20 after he was charged with killing Martin, 17, who was unarmed, in February. The case divided the country along racial and ethnic lines; Martin was black, while Zimmerman is the son of a white man and a Peruvian woman.
But Seminole County Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman's bond Friday after learning that Zimmerman and his wife may have misled him about their assets when he set bond. Prosecutors demonstrated that Zimmerman had at least $135,000 he didn't disclose in a special PayPal account he had set up to pay for his defense.
By concealing the defense contributions, Zimmerman benefited from a lower bond than he might have been granted had he and his family told the truth about how much money they really had, Lester said.
O'Mara said in a posting on the defense team's website that he would seek a new bond hearing, at which he would argue that "the vast majority" of the donated money was in an independently managed trust and that neither "Mr. Zimmerman or his attorneys have direct access to the money."
Benjamin Crump, an attorney for Martin's family, said Lester's finding that Zimmerman was dishonest is "very important because his credibility is the most important thing in this entire case."

But "the defense team hopes that Mr. Zimmerman's voluntary surrender to Sanford police will help demonstrate to the court that he is not a flight risk," O'Mara said.

If you are 55 or older and have participated in one of these classes, you may be eligible for such a discount. It is great when you receive a 10% discount on car insurance.
Always research anytime your insurance company offers you a warranty on parts that were used to fix your car. Many repair shops will guarantee their work, and auto parts makers will repair any parts they make. Do your research to find out if there is any kind of guarantee, before you spend any money on a warranty that isn?t necessary.
If your car is driven a minimal amount of miles each year, let your insurance company know. It could save you money. Obviously, decreasing the miles you drive annually is a good way to lower your insurance premiums.
Begin by taking an honest look at at the kind of insurance coverage that you actually need. You probably don?t need every insurance coverage option. If you tend to have accidents, you would be wise to pay for collision coverage.
Investigate which discounts are open to you and ensure you capitalize on all of them. You may also save a lot by claiming discounts.
When you buy a new CD player or install any other add-on, keep the receipt as a record for insurance purposes. You?ll need this as proof if your car is stolen or damaged. If you have decided to make expensive modifications, you need to make certain your insurance policy covers them in the case of any damage done or a theft occurs.
If issues with your driving record are raising your insurance premiums, then you may be able to take action to reduce your rate. For instance, some insurance companies will lower your rate after you successfully complete a driving course after experiencing an accident or a ticket. Some companies, like Progressive, offer their customers the option to temporarily add a chip to their car which will monitor their driving habits everyday, and if those habits show responsible driving, they will lower your rate.
Now that you?ve read this article, you should have a better understanding of auto insurance, so you will be more confident when you make decisions about coverage. You should educate yourself on auto insurance so you don?t become confused when different choices come up.
Live from London, Meredith Vieira previews Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee weekend, including never-before-seen home movies released by Prince Charles. Camilla Tominey and NBC's Ben Fogle chat about the excitement in the air.
?
By Will Fitzgibbon, The Bureau of Investigative Journalism
LONDON -- It will be a weekend of celebration across Britain. Not least among suffering retailers, who amid the country's double-dip recession will be cheering as loudly as the flag-flying crowds lining London's River Thames to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.
But despite the estimated 823 million pounds ($1.25 billion) expected to be spent by revellers this weekend, British businesses have proved stingy when it comes to raising the funds for the piece de resistance: Sunday's advertising-free pageant will include?a three-hour flotilla featuring more than 1,000 boats.
The committee responsible for the event earlier this year tried entice British companies into contributing to its 10.5 million pound ($16 million) cost. But with a?ban on advertising on either the riverside or on participating boats,?it proved to be a difficult sell and organizers had to draw on contributions from foreign companies and individuals to make up the shortfall.
Jubilee fever is gripping the U.K. in the form of royal souvenirs ? but the ultimate Jubilee gift may be a one-of-a-kind desk complete with a hidden diamond, which will be auctioned off for charity. NBC's Ben Fogle reports.
Lord Salisbury, the chairman of?Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant,?reportedly said that he did not wish to empty the public purse. ?
Instead organizers had to approach a number of non-British companies to pay for the costs, which include 7,000 stewards as well as festivities planned in Battersea Park.
'Six-figure checks' Official supporters include American oil company Chevron, advertising company AMV BBDO and Boris Johnson, who is London's New York-born mayor. An additional 20 publicly listed donors have contributed to the tab.

Companies from America, Australia and the Far East have reportedly signed "six-figure checks" as contributions.
However, the British public will never know the full list of organizations that contributed to the funding as the Jubilee Foundation only lists the donors who wish to be named.
While more than a century separates festivities marking Queen Elizabeth II's 60 years on the throne from those honoring her predecessor Queen Victoria, surprising similarities connect the commemorations. NBC News' Jim Maceda reports.
Among this list there are 14 U.K. individuals and companies and six foreign individuals and businesses. This list includes American banking giants Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan and Japanese brokering house Nomura Group.
According to a Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant spokeswoman, there are "a considerable number of contributors who have made donations and do not wish to be named."
More Diamond Jubilee coverage from Britain's ITV News
Other events, where companies are allowed to market themselves, have proved more popular to companies.
With just days to go until the country's largest river event in 350 years, a complex security operation has kicked in to ensure the safety of the thousand boats that will accompany the Queen down the Thames for the Jubilee river pageant. The flotilla will include sailing ships, music barges and a Hawaiian war canoe. ITN's Fatima Manji reports.
The biggest commercial boon will be the Queen's Jubilee Picnic, to be held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace on Monday and attended by 13,000 guests.?
Supermarket giant Waitrose may be providing 10,000 free hampers for the Jubilee Picnic but its commercial gains are already pouring in.
Waitrose has predicted its strawberry sales will increase seven-fold and "sales of Elderflower cordial have been soaring by an incredible 1,000 percent."
London is getting dressed up for the Jubilee weekend .. hanging out the bunting for the Queen's procession. In the royal mews at Buckingham Palace they're preparing for a second grand royal occasion in just over a year. The carriage that will take the Queen and Prince Philip back after a service at St Paul's Cathedral s being polished up again. ITN's Tim Ewart reports.?
A survey by Moneysupermarket.com also suggests Britons will spend 823 million pounds ($1.26 billion), or an average of 40 pounds ($61) per person on Jubilee-related purchases.
However, not everything is in the best possible taste. Diamond Jubilee sick bags are among the items being sold.

LOS ANGELES (AP) ? Justin Combs, the 18-year-old son of hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, will attend UCLA on a $54,000 football scholarship.
It is one of 285 athletic scholarships the university hands out every year.
It comes at a time when student fees are rising and a year after the university had to use more than $2 million in student fees to cover an athletic department funding gap.
Money for Combs' scholarship will not affect need-based scholarships awarded by the university, UCLA spokesman Ricardo Vazquez told the Los Angeles Times.
"There is a big separation between financial aid based on need and how that's funded and how athletic scholarships are funded and awarded to students," he said, noting that athletic scholarships come from athletic department ticket sales, corporate partnerships, media contracts and private donations.
The newspaper said Justin Combs defended taking the scholarship on Twitter: "Regardless what the circumstances are, I put that work in!!!! ... PERIOD."
The senior Combs is worth an estimated $475 million and gave his son a $360,000 Maybach car for his 16th birthday, the Times said.

Joelle Gamble, who will graduate from the university in a few weeks, said the scholarship could be considered an investment since UCLA would probably benefit by the celebrity Combs could bring to the school.
"It's how college athletics works. This is how we're going to get money," she said.
